I completed my undergraduate studies at Johns Hopkins University, and then I went to Boston University to earn my masters degree in medical science. I'm looking forward to attending medical school in the future, but in the meantime I am tutoring students in sciences and test preparation. I've used tutoring myself, so I am intimately familiar with how valuable it can be to a student's education. My tutors helped me master subjects, and I've helped students do the same as a tutor. I encourage a lot of active participation in my sessions, and I have students do a lot of practice problems. We start out doing problems together with my guidance, and then I back off slowly until students are able to solve problems on their own. This helps students build confidence in their abilities as well as problem-solving and critical thinking skills. Every student learns in their own way, so I customize my approach to match the student. I can assist students with biology, chemistry, microbiology, organic chemistry, physics, biostatistics, pharmacology, biochemistry, statistics, ACT preparation, GRE preparation, MCAT preparation, and other related disciplines. In my free time, I enjoy aviation and swimming.
